Demi Vollering won the 5th edition of the Tour de France Femmes, with Kasia Niewiadoma and Elisa Longo Borghini joining her on the podium. Vollering also won three stages, while Lorena Wiebes claimed two. The 2026 Tour de France Femmes started on Saturday 1 August and finished on Sunday 9 August.

Yellow jersey Vollering underlines dominance with third stage win
On the final and steepest ascent of the Col d'Èze, Kasia Niewiadoma puts Demi Vollering under pressure, but the yellow jersey holder refuses to crack. In fact, she later takes over the attack and heads into the descent with a 30-second lead. She solos to triumph and seals the GC victory in dominant fashion.

The Tour de France Femmes came into existence in 2022. It succeeded other women's versions of La Grande Boucle, such as Tour de France féminin, Tour de la CEE féminin, Tour cycliste féminin, and La Grande Boucle féminine. The race's direct predecessor was La Course.
Vollering lands stunning double in Nice
On a short uphill rise with 6.2 kilometres to go, Demi Vollering launches a razor-sharp attack. Elisa Longo Borghini and Kasia Niewiadoma initially manage to stay with her, but as the Dutchwoman keeps pressing, she eventually drops them both. She powers on to solo to stage victory and the yellow jersey.
